The Work We Do

Established in 1987, Essex is a commercial general contractor with offices in Eugene and Portland. 

We construct a wide variety of buildings including market-rate and affordable multi-family housing, office buildings, light industrial projects, restaurants, retail, schools and other public sector buildings in Western Oregon and Southwest Washington. The majority of our work is CM/GC and we also bid on some projects. We have the capability to self-perform concrete and miscellaneous and finish carpentry.

Our clients include developers, business owners, non-profits and public agencies. We are committed to sustainable practices. We build strong relationships and most of our projects are for clients we work with time and time again.
