I grew up on the south shore of Long Island, New York. This is where I started my path in the construction world, working for McDonough Brothers, a residential remodeling company. I knew right away I belonged in this industry.
I moved to New Orleans next, where I started in the commercial building sector, building large honeycomb style mausoleums. Eventually I ended up with a general contractor that was building schools and large retail buildings. I met my wife in New Orleans, and we moved to Eugene to get married. She's from here. Now Oregon is home.
From the day I interviewed with Essex I felt at home. I see the Essex team following through daily on their mission statement and that is important to me.
When I am not on site, I am living for my wife and kids. I love watching the kids play sports, fish and kayak. The best is hearing their laughter.
