Assistant Superintendent

At a very young age I was drawn into construction. My father started, and has owned, a general contracting company for the last 30+ years in Northern San Diego, CA, building tracks of high-end luxury custom and semi-custom homes. I spent most of my childhood taking wood from scrap piles at jobsites to build tree houses, skateboard ramps, ladders to climb into the neighbor’s yard and just about anything to find a reason to cut and nail something together.

I started working on job sites shortly after my 13th birthday, continuing through the end of college. I worked most weekends and full 40-hour work weeks during summers and winters between school, water-polo, swimming and baseball. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in a variety of fields including framing, roofing, drywall, painting, tile, cabinets, landscaping, and much more.

Since I had already begun to develop a firm grasp on the construction process, I decided to go to college to further understand the ins and outs of the business side of the construction process. I graduated from University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Finance.

Since then I have truly discovered my passion - commercial construction. I have enjoyed doing mid-rise podium work. I also had the opportunity to spend three and a half years serving as one of the superintendents on a 47-story building (Pinnacle on the Park, San Diego, CA) from groundbreaking though occupancy. This project is the largest residential project in San Diego history and the 3rd tallest building south of LA. It was an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world.

When I’m not working, I enjoy the outdoors - fishing, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and just about anything under the sun. Family is also a huge aspect of my life and I spend time with them every opportunity that I get.
