At fifteen I worked a summer construction job with my father. While sweating in the hot sun I noticed someone observing the construction. I asked my dad about him. He told me that was the person I wanted to be Ė an inspector. I followed my dadís advice and applied for that job after high school. It took three years before someone finally reviewed my resume and invited me to join the firm. Long story short, the Oregon Building Officials Association certified me as a Special Inspector at twenty three.
My career has provided me with a variety of interesting experiences, including work as an Inspector for an engineering firm, a Contract Administrator for a steel fabricator and general contractor, and my work as the Quality Assurance and Sustainability Administrator at Rogue Creamery.
I bring this knowledge and a continued desire to learn new skills to my work as a Project Engineer for Essex.
When left to my own devices you are likely to find me with wife and kids playing games. I am also a major rock hound, and even try my hand at napping occasionally. I love to be in the great outdoors and learn as much as possible in my travels.
