Regional Sports Center, Phases I & II Springfield, Oregon Essex was commissioned to build a 93,700 sq. ft. multi purpose sports facility, in two phases. It includes the largest basketball floor in the Northwest, other basketball and volleyball courts, roller hockey rink, weight training and locker rooms. This complex is designed to serve the physical activity needs for the youth of the greater Eugene-Springfield area. The first phase was completed in the fall of 2004. In 2006, joining the first building, was the second phase and a new home for Willamalane Parks and Recreation facility. To check out the Sports Center website, click here. |
