Southwestern Oregon Community College Coos Bay, Oregon This was an extremely fast-track project for a community college that wanted to get students in these four 3-story student housing buildings by the time school started. The first of the four 8,000 sq. ft. buildings was completed in only 3 months. The entire project was completed in time for students to move in! One of the reasons we were able to get this project done in a timely manner was the fact that we "panelized" all the walls at our shop in Eugene and then trucked them to Coos Bay. We were erecting all the walls for one entire floor in under two hours! The site was challenging, as well, with drop-offs on one side, making it very difficult to get equipment in for second floor and roofing work. |
