Fern Ridge Service Center Breaking Ground in December

Essex is very proud to be breaking ground next week for the Fern Ridge Service Center that will be built in Veneta. This is a great opportunity for the City of Veneta and volunteers in the community to have a location to help support their local food bank and senior programs.

Featured in the City of Veneta’s “City News” is an article about this amazing project. Please read below:

“After years of planning and fundraising by the Fern Ridge volunteer community and the City of Veneta, contractors will break ground this month on the Fern Ridge Service Center, a centerpiece of Veneta’s urban renewal efforts.

On November 5, 2012, the City of Veneta awarded a $1,476,764 construction contract to Essex General Construction of Eugene to build the facility.”

Chef’s Night Out 2012

Westgate receives LEED Platinum Rating!

LTD Ridesource

LTD Ridesource is a 10,147 square foot operations and maintenance facility for the Lane Transit District. This building features include exposed block masonry and structural steel elements, day lighting using clerestory glazing and reflective surfaces. Essex also built a 3,300 square foot shop with lift and specialized equipment for servicing buses.
