Brady Sutton

I love the outdoors!

I am one of the Project Managers at Essex. I have over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.

I attended college for 2 years, where my major was Construction management and a minor in Business. I also completed 3 flights of leadership training at the Repour Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I’m a life long construction professional. I have worked in Arizona, Nevada and Oregon in both the residential and commercial fields. I’m married and have known my wife Reta since we were in the 6th grade. She has a day care business. We live with our 3 chocolate labs in the country outside the town of Oakland, OR.

We like going to the ocean and spending the day playing on the beach with our dogs, fishing the Umpqua River, hunting, hiking and playing golf.”

Shortly after starting with Essex and in the early days of the Pearl project, I had not been introduced to the project owner yet. I was in the alley as we were demolishing the old buildings on site and a jogger runs up the alley. Since he wasn’t wearing any safety gear as well as not being one of our subcontractors, I instructed the man to stop and turn around and go back as he didn’t belong there. It was a safety hazard. At which point he asked, are you Brady and I replied yes, and he answered well my name is Dan Neal and I own this project. So to my embarrassment, I introduced myself and said please, jog on through. Which he replied no worries; I want you to keep unauthorized people out of our jobsite and off he went. Thanks guys for introducing him to me before I knew who he was.
