The Cleanery, The Daily Bagel & Lot #2
Village Plaza, Eugene, Oregon

The owner of The Cleanery, Ron Bowker, contracted with Essex to build these lovely brick retail buildings in Village Plaza in Eugene.

Essex completed the construction of The Cleanery interior and then did the "tenant infill" for The Daily Bagel according to the design of the owner, Johnny Worthen.  At the same time we completed a retail/office building on Lot #2 of the Plaza with a unique challenge:  solid metal awnings along the length of the building, meticulously engineered and executed.  The brick and masonry designs added character and integrated this building into others that were on the drawing board for this beautiful shopping center.
