These two complimentary buildings are built on a one & one-half-acre site adjacent to the University of Oregon campus.  Featuring 40,000 sq. ft. of stained concrete floor, with wood frame and steel constructions, these 72 studio and 1-bedroom apartment units were designed for aesthetics, durability and accessibility.

The construction site was extremely tight, both in location, situated in the middle of an existing university neighborhood, and in time line, which Essex met.
