Construction Project Managers / Superintendents
Essex General Construction, a growing commercial general contractor, seeks professional candidates for Project Managers and Construction Superintendents with exceptional communication and organizational abilities.  Requisite experience includes at least five years of on-site project supervision and/or project management on multi-million dollar construction projects.

Construction Laborers
Perform tasks involving physical labor at building, highway and heavy construction projects, tunnel and shaft excavations, and demolition sites.  May operate hand and power tools of all types:  air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment and a variety of other equipment and instruments.  May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, and remove other waste materials.  May assist other craft workers.

Construction Carpenters
construction carpenters construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures of concrete, wood, plywood and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.  Construction carpenters must know the materials, methods and tools involved in constructing houses, buildings or other structures.  They must understand design techniques and know how to use tools involved in production of plans, blueprints, drawings and models.  They must have a working knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology as well as understand arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their applications.
